TEMPERATURE DATA ACQUISITION - THERMES USB

Physitemp’s original Thermes high accuracy ISA based data acquisition system has been redesigned to create a more versatile USB model. The new system requires no internal connections to your computer and simply connects via an external USB port on your laptop or desktop computer. Two versions of the data acquisition system are available. The standard version, THERMES USB, is connected to your computer USB port. The wireless version - THERMES USB WFI, can be either directly connected to a USB port or, with the included wireless receiver, positioned up to 100 feet from the host computer. The THERMES USB WFI is a Type T Thermocouple data acquisition system with a secure 2.4GHz wireless link to its host computer. Specifications for the device are the same as the THERMES USB except for its wireless capability. The THERMES USB WFI includes a wireless receiver that is connected to the host computer via a USB port. All communications between the host computer and THERMES pass through this device. IT-18 Probe An extensive range of flexible teflon microprobes are now available from Physitemp Instruments.

These fast response probes are used for implantation in brain and muscle tissue, blood vessels, spectrophotometer cuveftes, rectally in neonatal mice, in water baths, etc. Custom probes are available for special applications as well.


      These fast reading microprobes are strong, flexible and completely sealed. They can be autoclaved or sterilized by use of gas (ETO) or Cidex. Our flexible microprobes are available with a sensor lead as small as .009" diameter. Small mass results in fast response times, with time constants as low as .005 seconds.

      All microprobes are made with Physitemp's proprietary copper/constantan thermocouple wire and are guaranteed accurate to 0. 1 OC within the physiological range. Probes do not require individual calibration and are completely interchangeable in any type T (copper/constantan) thermocouple thermometer such as the Physftemp BAT and Thermalert series instruments.
